Our school is constituted as a non-profit society under the Society Act of British Columbia.

The Tsawwassen Independent School Society, a not-for-profit society, owns and operates Southpointe Academy, a Group 2, secular, co-educational school, fully accredited by the Ministry of Education of British Columbia.

The Society currently has fourteen members who elect the Board of Governors.

The school is also a registered Canadian charity.
